It hurts, it really does,
When he isn’t the person he was.
So sweet, so loving & caring,
He was a man so full of daring.
Time flies and so does love,
With nothing left to rise above, to show love.
It is difficult to explain the pain I’m bearing,
Especially, when love feels so unsharing.
The Echoes of Changed Love makes me anxious!
That future (in my dreams) was so calm and beautiful,
Full of fun, joy, and moments so wonderful.
But reality is distinct from dream,
That breaks with a light’s beam.
The love, the care, and our beautiful affair,
Seems like an oasis which was never there.
Starving and keeping vigil through the night,
Just to talk over the phone to make things right.
Waking up before the birds,
To deck up and wait for you, no words.
Hoping to see your loving gaze,
Rushing to the office with haste.
Shooting and clicking all day,
Making memories that would always stay.
I’ll cherish those moments, come what may,
For with you, my heart will always lie.
But it hurts to see you change,
For, I thought you would never stray.
Yes, it hurts… oh, it really does!
